Hello my names Joe Gutierrez, I now reside in Northern California with my wife and two kids that will be joining me on many of my adventures. We moved from Oregon where I had lived for close to 8 years. That’s where I really got my skills of being an archer and hunter. I’ve hunted my whole life and shot trad bows compounds as hunted with handguns and rifles. I’ve been fortunate with my success in all my hunting methods but shooting a trad bow brings it full circle. We have to not only be a great hunter but we are even better conservationists. The method we take to the field is not the most successful however it is the most humbling and rewarding.
Hunting with KuduPoint
It was 2016 when I walked in to an archery shop, I never had been happy with the expandable and replaceable blades. I wanted something as hard and as rugged as I was. I told the shop they showed me the options and when I seen those 125 grain Kudu I knew it was meant to be. I ended up taking my first buck with a bow with those heads and many others in the years to come, telling everyone I knew that they to needed the most reliable and accurate broad head they could and for me that was Kudu Point. When I found out they made 200 grain heads I knew I needed some to top off my quiver on my long bow and the rest is history. I’ll never shoot another head don’t fix what’s not broken!
